I was excited to read this book as readers had voted it the best Romance for 2021 on the GoodReads website. It was a light, fun read and something I needed during this "winter of our discontent," but for me, it didn't live up to the hype. Don't get me wrong, this was a worthy read, and it was delightful, but I could not find myself invested in these characters and their predicaments.

Poppy and Alex have been long-time friends, and every year they take a vacation together. Over the course of several trips and various relationships, will Poppy and Alex discover that their friendship has become something more?

I give this book 3.75 stars out of 5.

It is an enjoyable diversion if you are looking for a light Romance.
